Juice diet to lose weight.

These natural juices are full of antioxidants and they are refreshing. Not only are these refreshing, but they are full of flavour and delicious. A few tips before we start our juice recipes: try to get fresh fruits and vegies also drink the juices as soon as you make them. Enjoy the variety of juices and don’t stick with only one recipe. My 7 top refreshing and delicious juices for the week give you a variety to try on. The best time to drink fresh juice is at least ½ an hour before your main meal. There are proven health benefits of Juices. These juices are a great way to lose weight naturally.

Here are some combinations to try. You can vary these according to your taste and liking.

Carrot, Apple and Celery Juice.

1 large carrot

1 large apple

1 large piece of celery

Cut the apple and remove the cores, peel the carrot and celery and process Apple, Carrot and Celery through the juicer and enjoy right away.

Nutritional Information

Carrot   – Rich source of Vitamin A, C. Also rich in many B-complex groups of vitamins such as folic acid, vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine), thiamine and pantothenic acid.

Apple    – good quantities of vitamin-C, good source of B-complex vitamins such as riboflavin, thiamin, and pyridoxine (vitamin B-6).

Celery   – An excellent source of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, K and C and dense in potassium, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, sodium and essential amino acids.

Cucumber, Apple and Mint Juice.

1 Cucumber

1 green apple

½ cup of mint

Cut the apple and remove the cores, peel the carrot. Process Apple, Carrot and mint leaves   through the juicer and enjoy right away.

Nutritional Information

Mint – rich in carotenes and vitamin C. Mint is also a good source of several essential minerals, including magnesium, copper, iron, potassium, and calcium.

Cucumber – It is a very good source of potassium. Cucumbers contain unique anti-oxidants in moderate ratios such as ß-carotene and α-carotene, vitamin-C, vitamin-A, zea-xanthinand lutein. Cucumber is rich in vitamin K. Vitamin K is important for healthy bones. Another good article about Juice.

Tomato, Carrot, Lemon, Pepper and Spring Onion Juice.

1 ripe tomato

1 Carrot

Juice of one lemon

1 Red pepper

1 Spring onion

Wash and feed the vegetables through the juicer and add the juice of the lemon. Juice tomato and cucumber. Add the lemon juice. Stir well and enjoy right away.

Nutritional Information

Tomato – Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, K Nacin and Folate. Also tomato is rich in Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium, Iron, Manganese, Copper and Zinc.

Carrot   – Rich source of Vitamin A, C. Also rich in many B-complex groups of vitamins such as folic acid, vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine), thiamin, pantothenic acid.

Red Pepper – rich source of vitamin-C. It also contains good levels of vitamin-A. In addition, it contains anti-oxidant flavonoids such as α and ß carotenes, lutein, zea-xanthin, and cryptoxanthin. Also contains iron, copper, zinc, potassium, manganese, magnesium, and selenium. Also rich in in B-complex group of vitamins such as niacin, pyridoxine (vitamin B-6), riboflavin, and thiamin (vitamin B-1).

Spring Onion – Spring onions contain healthy composition of vitamin-A. They also have some other essential vitamins such as vitamin C, and K. Spring onions are plentiful in B-complex vitamins as well as some essential minerals such as copper, iron, manganese, and calcium. Also contain several vital vitamins such as pyridoxine, folic acid, niacin, riboflavin, and thiamin in healthy proportions.

Lemon – Rich in Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, C, Niacin, Folate and Patothenic Acid. Also Lemon is rich in Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium, Iron and Selenium.

Pomegranate, Mint and Apple Juice.

2 Pomegranates

¼ cup of mint leaves

2 red apples

Cut the Pomegranates and scoop the seeds. Cut the apple and remove the cores. Process the Pomegranate seeds, mint leaves and Apples.

Pomegranate – rich source of soluble and insoluble dietary fibers, also good source of antioxidant vitamin-C,  Further, it is an also good source of many vital B-complex groups of vitamins such as pantothenic acid (vitamin B-5), folates, pyridoxine and vitamin K, and minerals like calcium, copper, potassium, and manganese.

Mint – rich in carotenes and vitamin C. Mint is also a good source of several essential minerals, including magnesium, copper, iron, potassium, and calcium.

Apple    – good quantities of vitamin-C, good source of B-complex vitamins such as riboflavin, thiamin, and pyridoxine (vitamin B-6).

Spinach, Cucumber, Pepper and Celery Juice.

3 cups baby Spinach leaves

1 large cucumber

1 Yellow Pepper

1 large celery

 Crumble Juice.

¼ Pineapples

Juice of 1 Lemon

1 Cucumber

1 Apple

1 piece of Celery

Wash and clean the ingredients. Cut the apple and remove the cores. Clean the skin of the Pineapple. Process the Pineapple, cucumber, Apple and Celery through the Juicer. Mix the Lemon juice. Stir well, Pour into a glass and drink as soon as possible.

Pineapple – An excellent source of antioxidant vitamin C; It also contains small amount Vitamin A and beta-carotene. Also rich in B-complex group of vitamins like folates, thiamin, pyridoxine, riboflavin and minerals like copper,manganeseand potassium.

 

Lemon –an excellent source of ascorbic acid (provides about 88% of DRI). Ascorbic acid. They also contain a small level of vitamin A, and other flavonoid anti-oxidants such as α, and ß-carotenes, beta-cryptoxanthin, zea-xanthin and lutein. The fruit is also a good source of B-complex vitamins such as pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, and folates. They contain a healthy amount of minerals like iron, copper, potassium, and calcium.
